Stagg Jr Batch 26A 129.3 Proof (64.65%) Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml

Batch 26A (64.65% ABV / 129.3 Proof)
Highest Proof Since 23A

George T. Stagg built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century, during a time known as the Gilded Age of Bourbon. Uncut and unfiltered, this robust bourbon whiskey ages for nearly a decade and boasts the bold character that is reminiscent of the man himself.

Tasting Notes:

Rich, sweet, chocolate and brown sugar flavors mingle in perfect balance with the bold rye spiciness. The boundless finish lingers with hints of cherries, cloves and smokiness.

"Spectacularly mind-blowing!" - Jim Murray, Whisky Bible

"After our video review of the Stagg 26A, I was asked to compare the 26A to Batch 18!
They are eerily similar. The 26A has a little heat in the middle, the 18 in the front. By heat, I mean spice, not hot. Both are smooth and classic Stagg. The finish is slightly longer on the 18. Both great pours." - Bourbon Preacher

"In comparison to last years batches, this superseeds all of them ... this one is probably up there with my favourites." - Game and Grains

"This is probably my favourite Stagg batch that i've had in a while. Probably easily in the last two years. This is one to seek out." - Zach, Spirited Reviews
