Our Tequila Anejo is aged at least 11 months in American oak barrels then for 2 months in ex-Wild Turkey bourbon barrels to create a tequila rich in character. With its bright reddish-gold hue and balanced profile, this Tequila will engage your palate. It's aroma perfectly balances agave and earthy wood, with a touch of butterscotch. Taste is a medium-to-full body and a velvety mouthfeel. Take in the notes of caramel, vanilla, dried fruit and chocolate for a an elegant and complex finish. Mix your Espolon Tequila Anejo with agave syrup and bitters for an Old Fashioned, or simply enjoy sipping neat or on the rocks.
