Part of the Royal Salute Small Batch Collection, 25 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky Batch 006 is a Travel Exclusive Limited Edition. The Royal Salute Small Batch Collection is an exclusive series of carefully selected whiskies, each aged between 25 and 28 years, that have undergone a unique maturation process in specific types of casks, giving them a unique character. The whiskies are finished in a variety of cask types, from rye whisky casks to Sherry Pedro Ximénez casks. This approach allows Sandy Hyslop, Royal Salute's master blender, to create rare and exclusive blends. Meticulous care and timing in imparting the essence from each cask are key to achieving their unique character.
Batch 006 has been finished for three years in first fill hogsheads which have previously held Pedro Ximénez sherry.

    Nose:    Notes of rhubarb and ginger jam through raspberry coulis and roasted hazelnut to nuances of carrot cake and cinnamon with a hint of charred oak.

    Taste:    Notes of dark chocolate covered prunes, sultanas and cinnamon bake with hints of nutmeg and sweet, charred oak.

    Finish:   Long, sweet and slightly spicy.
