Bushmills 25 Year Old Irish Single Malt is an exceptional small batch whiskey, robust in character.  After initial maturation in bourbon barrels and sherry butts, it is finished in a first-fill ruby port pipe oak cask for 21 years to impart generations of luxurious dark fruit flavours.  These port pipes were personally sourced from a family cooperage, which shares Bushmills’s uncompromising values, expertly hand-crafted from delicate European oak to ensure the interaction between seasoned wood and whiskey is the greatest it can be.
Only 3,500 bottles released.

    Nose:    Rich and complex. Intense ripe hedgerow dark fruit aromas mingled with honey and gentle toasted wood offer the first glimmer of the age of this well-rounded whiskey.

    Taste:    Sweet almond tones followed by caramelised cherries, plums and blackberries delight the taste buds before developing into rich dark chocolate mingled with sweet spices and finishing with honey and damson.

    Finish:    The remarkable ever present warm oak, port sweetness and gentle spice continues to flourish long after the last drop has glided down, inviting you to taste this exquisite single malt again and again.
