Fruit for De Bortoli Villages Pinot Noir was hand harvested from the three De Bortoli vineyards in the Yarra Valley as well as from Denton and Viggers. The resultant wine flaunts a vibrant red colour with bright hues. The bouquet exhibits youthful and complex aromatics of Pinot Noir, with fragrances of strawberry, plum with a hint of oak. The palate shows a medium weight, and is plumpy with flavours of red and dark fruits. Fine tannins offer this wine a silky finish. The wine develops complexity over careful cellaring.
