A well balanced Red Ale ‘built’ from components of an open fermented base beer aged in a barrel for an extended period of time and allowed to naturally acidify blended with a fresh beer (using some mash tun souring processes) prior to packaging. The play on sweet, sour and bitter should create a vibrant experience for the taster, tart cherry and red wine like complexities will give this beer depth and length on palate which will appeal to both beer drinkers and wine / cider drinkers alike.
