Starward Distillery in Melbourne has quickly established itself as one of the premier distilleries not just in Australia but the world. Starward Solera will only add to that reputation. Created by fermenting select Australian malted barley with a brewers' yeast strain normally reserved for craft beers and matured in carefully chosen Apera casks, Starward Solera is then blended using, you guessed it, a multi-story Solera vatting system. The resulting spirit is light and refreshing with well rounded fruit notes, a creamy sweetness reminiscent of creme brûlée and gentle spiciness that just has to be experienced.
